As a regional organization representing the leaders in the Workplace Products Industry, we bring the best of all worlds to our customers. In business for over 135 years, McCartney's has partnered with Steelcase, Hon, Canon, and Essendant, all the biggest and best in their respective industries. This close-to-home approach, that brings the best resources and products available in the world today, to our area, creates a win-win for the McCartney's team and our clients. These industry partnerships allow us to specialize in the Education, Healthcare, Government, and Commercial markets with innovative solutions. Our $5B buying group and our access to State/Education/Healthcare contracts along with the low cost of doing business in the region allow us to bring significant value to our clients. At McCartney's we pride ourselves in the role we take in social responsibility. We recognize the importance of giving back to the community that supports us. Within our particular industry, that is one of many things that truly set us apart from the rest. Since we have been serving the local area for over 135 years, we realize that giving back to the community is just the right thing to do. As a corporation, we financially support hundreds of community organizations.

Employee Volunteer Initiative

We have an employee volunteer initiative where we allow our employees to be paid for the hours they spend bettering our community. We are coaches, volunteers, actors, leaders, scout masters, missionaries, music parents, yoga teachers, armed service veterans, Rotarians, religious education teachers, community-based board members, and musicians. Our 20+ employees are constantly making central PA a better place to live and raise a family.

Environmental Commitment

McCartney's Brand Paper

It is milled in Johnsonburg PA, cut and packaged in Dubois PA then shipped directly to our warehouse. The pulp is Certified Sourcing Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Furniture Department

We offer an extensive variety of furniture products for the Office, Healthcare, and Education. We take pride in providing exceptional service even after the sale. The widest variety of furniture offered by anyone including items that can be delivered and installed the next day, Carbon Neutral Products, widest variety of price points, and representing the first and third largest suppliers in the industry- Steelcase and Hon, along with many others. We have 6,000 sq ft of furniture on display at our WorkLife Center which includes many modular case goods and three wall series. Ask about our electrical products that save remodeling costs by 70%. We offer no cost trial and MockUp programs.

McCartney%u2019s is pleased and excited to be your local source for many modular architectural products with very pleasing aesthetics that can also save money and the environment.

Steelcase Everwall

Steelcase%u2019s newest modular wall product is called Everwall. We have an example of it in our showroom and we plan on having an Architectural, Design, and Construction event to show it off this year. Keep in mind that Steelcase has other wall options, and we also have other manufacturers with wall options as well (Loftwall, LifeFlo, KI, etc.) Several of them can be seen in our WorkLife Center.

Steelcase Convey

As far as the modular cabinetry/casework, Convey is Steelcase%u2019s top-end product. It is all HPL for durability, has an innovative adjustment bracket and rail system, and can come with a laminate or solid surface top, specially designed for the healthcare environment. The system is removable, repositionable, and reusable.

Benefits of Modular Solutions

These modular solutions are generally more expensive to start out, but they come with some potential benefits vs. conventional construction:

Environmental: Often contain recycled/recyclable content, reusable over time, greatly reduced waste with reconfiguration.

Commercial Supplies Department

We offer over 20,000 items of office, printing, janitorial, and breakroom supplies. McCartney's still has supply catalogs available. McCartney's also offers stock room or supply closet maintenance at no charge. Our own delivery team delivers your orders and places them at the appointed place whether it be in a supply cabinet, stock room, your desktop or other designated place.
